Mind Tech delivers next generation high performance and high 100G port density PX network visibility switches. Mind Tech PX switches come with different port interfaces including 100GE, 40GE, 25GE, 10GE optical interfaces and 10GE electrical interfaces.

As network visibility switches, Mind Tech PX switches focus on traffic capture and distribution for mobile core networks, metropolitan area networks (MAN), Internet data centers (IDC), and enterprise campus networks, enabling users to rapidly deploy their network applications with great flexibilities by aggregating, filtering, replicating, and load balancing their target traffics. In addition, Mind Tech PX switches can also perform other important functions such as packet slicing, time stamping, and tunnel encapsulation. The foundation inside Mind Tech PX switches is a programmable switch chip that can deliver versatile functionalities at an unparalleled performance and hence allow Mind Tech PX switches to be deployed for ultra-high-bandwidth installations in different target environment.

There are 2 product series in Mind Tech PX switch family and they are PX3 and PX5 series.

 

Abundant flexibility with uncompromising performance from programmable chip technology

Mind Tech PX switches are based on the programmable switch chip architecture, which enables high-performance data packet pre-processing and in-depth protocol identification at wire speed.

Multi-level & multi-analysis concurrent policy processing support

Mind Tech PX visibility switches support multi-level concurrent policy processing. They can implement different traffic policies on ingress interfaces, intermediate links, and egress interfaces. In addition, the L2/L3/L4/L7-Layer concurrent filtering policy function in Mind Tech PX switches can be enabled to greatly simplify configuration process in complex traffic policy environment and hence eliminating duplicated device interfaces needed for each concurrent filtering function.

Cost-effective traffic load balancing based on tunnel inner IP 5-tuple

In fixed and mobile network scenarios, there is a strong demand for traffic load balancing based on inner IP 5-tuple of various tunnels such as GTP, MPLS, GRE, etc. Legacy visibility devices have been able to meet this traffic load-balancing demand using FPGA/MIPS technologies, but at high cost and low performance. Mind Tech PX switches can also meet this traffic load-balancing demand using programmable switch chip and optimized operating software, but with greater than 10 times of performance increase over legacy visibility devices.
